This whole presentation was a strawman. I am a new atheist and I don’t claim that there is no god, simply that I don’t believe in one. Also, it would be nice for churches to go away, but our main concern is for them to not be so politically influential. Adding anything to that is to spin it.
Pointing to yourself, an individual, and claiming authoritative representation of the New Atheist movement is a strawman. There’s not much difference between claiming there is no God and believing there is no God. Its like saying “I don’t claim there’s a God, I just believe there is.” It’s also dishonest to claim that new atheists don’t claim there is no God, because they certainly do, its no secret or surprise to anyone, more like a hallmark.
One of the most beneficial things that could happen to our civilization would be the reduction, containment, and ultimate eradication of Leftist influence. Your fear of churches is irrational, hysterical hyperbole.
