About Richard E. Turley Jr.
Richard E. Turley Jr. is the managing director of the Public Affairs Department and the former assistant Church historian and recorder for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His career includes twenty-two years managing the church’s history operations and record-keeping functions. He has helped guide the acquisition, preservation, and sharing of Church history and family history records and the development of digital record-keeping systems, including at the Family History Library, Church History Library, Church History Museum, and Granite Mountain Records Vault.
