Some very profound and moving thoughts here. I was impressed with the concept that God’s ability to establish meaningful relationships with us requires that He be affected by us and therefore that He suffer. And “we do not suffer because we are defective, but because we are like God.”
Thank you for helping us to understand God’s transcendence, that He is a God of possibility, and the God of the Bible who suffers for us and blesses us through personal covenants that we might be more like Him.
