  1. Jeffrey, this was well researched and well explained.

    I found it particularly interesting that you brought in the Lord’s Two Witnesses at the end of your Appendix. These Two Witnesses are more significant than we know. “These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.” (Revelation 11:4) It would take a full article to properly explore this, but here I will mention only one connection.

    In Mathew 20:21-23 the mother of James and John asked, “Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.” The Savior’s reply is very interesting. “To sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.” Jesus will have two assistants in the administration of His Kingdom, but even He did not have the authority to approve them. The Savior used the future tense in relation to their callings so it is probable that these Two Witnesses are on the earth today, perhaps as boys or perhaps as General Authorities?
