About J. Ward Moody
J. Ward (Jay) Moody (PhD, The University of Michigan) has been a professor of astronomy at Brigham Young University since 1990. He is the author or coauthor of over 70 peer-reviewed publications, principally on the nature and distribution of young galaxies and blazars. He is the former managing editor of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific Conference Series, the largest publisher of astronomical conference proceedings in the world, and was the editor of Converging Paths to Truth: The Summerhays Lectures on Science and Religion. He currently serves as the bishop of his home ward.
